All-Porcelain Crowns

White crowns used to be made out of porcelain fused to metal, often leaving a dark grey area at the gum line. Now we have the technology to create your crown entirely out of porcelain. All-porcelain crowns are translucent like your natural teeth, so they look great!

All all-porcelain crown is a custom-made restoration that is bonded to your tooth, covering it completely. They repair and strengthen damaged teeth, and can also be used to improve your appearance by covering discolored or misshapen teeth.

Crowns require at least two visits. We will prepare and shape your tooth, then take impressions. A dental laboratory will make a model from these impressions, and use a model to create your natural-looking new all-porcelain crowns.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are fabricated with the help of a dental laboratory. They generally cover the tops and front of teeth. Veneers can be used to whiten teeth as well as correct problems like chipped, misshapen, crooked or worn teeth.

The procedure:
Porcelain veneers are custom created to precisely fit your teeth. On your first visit, we carefully remove a thin layer of enamel. Then we take impressions of your teeth. A Dental laboratory uses these impressions to build a model of your teeth, then creates the veneers on that model.

You will love your smile! Once they are in place, veneers virtually become part of your teeth. You can use them like you would your own teeth, because the bond is extremely strong. Your final result is a more beautiful, natural-looking smile!

White Restorations

Silver and gold fillings used to be our only choices for restoring your damaged or decayed teeth but advances in dental material technology have created strong new synthetic tooth-colored restorative materials that help you look your best.

If you decide you would like your tooth restored with a white material, we can use either porcelain or composite resin, which is a plastic-like substance. We will carefully match the chosen material to your natural teeth, so the restoration will blend in well.

Both porcelain and composite resin bond securely to your tooth, so the restorations are extremely strong and durable. Also, because they are bonded, we can be more conservative when we prepare your tooth for the filling, so you retain more of your natural, healthy tooth structure.
